Prospective Students

Personal growth, spiritual growth and opportunity for ministry are intentionally built into the extracurricular lives of students at EPIC Bible College. Beyond academic training, students benefit from rich Chapel experiences, local Christian concerts and events featuring outstanding guest speakers. In addition, students hone ministry skills and grow in Christ through active involvement in their choice of one of the many excellent churches in this area.

EPIC students also enjoy close relationships with each other and with faculty; sharing a love for God and a sincere desire to study the Scriptures. This distinct atmosphere of worship and dedication permeates all activities, both in and outside the classroom.

Choosing what college to go to can be a tough decision and is certainly important. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, EPIC may be the college for you. If you feel a call to ministry or are just looking for spiritual growth and enrichment, EPIC is definitely a college you want to consider attending.

Regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity or denomination, EPIC is a great place to acquire the experience and knowledge to equip you for a life of Christian ministry and discipleship. EPIC has “students from many ethnic groups, students who ranged from 15 to 80 years of age, students from 130 churches representing 20 denominations, even students who came from many nations of the world” (Ron W. Harden, EPIC President). Along with Rev. Harden we invite to join our diverse student body and “take that step now to respond to God’s prompting to know Him more, or to be a better worker in your church, or to be prepared for ministry by ministers.”

We invite you to, in the words of Rev. Harden, “Come to Life at EPIC Bible College!”

Student Ministries

EPIC Bible College is not interested in merely preparing students for ministry after graduation; each student should be involved in some kind of ministry whether through his or her home church or through a para-church organization.

Ministry is therefore an essential part of student life at EPIC. Whatever your ministry is we would love to hear about it and even feature your ministry on our website. Of course this is not about receiving glory that is due to God alone, but to encourage other students who may not be involved in ministry.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Hebrews 10:24 NIV

Chapel

Chapel is a significant part of campus life.  It is a time for the EPIC community to come together for worship, fellowship, sharing in prayer, as well as providing important information. The purpose of the Chapel program is to offer a time for spiritual development and formation for the students, staff, faculty, and guests of Epic.

Chapel attendance and participation allows students to learn practical ministry skills from observation, experience and application.

Previous ASB President Jeremy Drew had this to say about chapel:

“The worship experiences here have just been a taste of Heaven for me. Because when we come to worship together, we come from different churches, we come from different experiences and different walks of life. But when we come together to worship, the presence of God is there, and all the lines fall. All the denominational differences fall. Any stereotypes we may have fall. Because we are all centered around the same goal: we want to see Christ glorified in our churches and in our world. And I believe that is what Heaven is going to be like, and I just so treasure that.”

Leadership Opportunities

  • Through Chapel, the student will experience opportunities for leadership in:

  • Worship

  • Prayer

  • Meditation and Reflection on the Scripture

  • Changes in belief, attitude and behavior

  • Encouragement

  • The preaching of the Word of God

Academics

Quality Biblical Education

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.   2 Timothy 2:15 ESV

With hands-on Bible training at the center of everything we do at EPIC Bible College, every program offered requires our core Bible and Ministry courses. Unlike some traditional colleges that encourage students to leave their lives behind for four years, EPIC Bible College equips Christians for ministry within the context of their everyday lives.

We also believe that students are best trained by instructors currently active in ministry, rather than theorists and academicians. That is why all the professors participate in a vital ministry, within their field, beyond the classroom walls. At EPIC Bible College you will find a personable faculty and staff that genuinely want to see you succeed.

Job Opportunities
